The original idea for Dirty Clean Eats came about over a campfire after a few beers. The original concept was to create an online forum to give people a place to discuss their mental and physical health particularly aimed at people who might not be the best at this and communicating in a way that resonates with them.
A year into DCE we discovered Jamu while travelling in Indonesia. Jimmy Bang Bang started making it for me. This grew to friends and family and before we knew it we were stocked in 50+ locations. The
business has continued to grow from there but our core concepts of health and fitness are still very much front and centre for everything we do.
Jamu is made locally and is our ‘Aussie’ twist on a traditional Indonesian drink. Made with fresh Turmeric root, fresh Ginger root, fresh Garlic, Apple Cider Vinegar, Black Pepper, Chilli and Lime. We
source 98% of our ingredients in Australia with the majority coming from right here in South Australia.
Our goals are to
1) Promote awareness for positive physical and mental health
2) Promote awareness for our products and content
3) Have a great time while we are doing it.
